David formed DGA Architects in London in 1993 on the strength of a £6m mixed-use development in London Docklands. A succession of further developer-led, urban design and private projects followed throughout London and the home counties, both new-build and refurbishment, providing the practice with detailed knowledge of the design, town planning and environmental issues connected with small and large scale developments.
The knowledge and experience that David brings to the practice has drawn in such clients as Tudorvale Properties, City & Country, Watkin Jones, UAL and Kingston University, many of whom have returned to the practice for further projects.
David’s success to date has lead to the sustained growth of his practice and team whose creativity and problem-solving skills deliver original proposals inspired by elegant, sustainable design.
Tom joined DGA in 1999 and has been an integral part of the team delivering residential and commercial projects from feasibility to fully completed schemes. His design flair, commercial eye and sound project management have been key to the success of a wide variety of high quality refurbishment and new build projects with values in excess of £40million, with a number of these being located on sensitive sites in Central London.
Tom’s expertise in navigating the planning process, commercial viability and feasibility have delivered high-end design projects in the public sector, sensitive Listed Building developments and large-scale market-led mixed-use developments.
Having worked with residential developers, affordable housing providers, student housing developers and universities, Tom has developed an expertise in all sectors of the residential market working with clients such as Tudorvale Properties, City & Country, Watkin Jones, UAL and Kingston University in recent years.
Prior to joining DGA in 2007 Richard previously worked with commercial clients such as Laing O'Rourke, most notably on London's Heathrow Terminal 5.
Richard has worked as Architectural Designer on both large and medium scale residential developments across London at both design/planning and construction stage. Recent projects include £10m mixed use development in Clerkenwell, and a £30m 475 bed student housing & residential scheme in Finsbury Park, London
