Winner of Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Environment Award, and RIAI Commendation. This project involved the extension and alterations to 3 separate sites in this primary school in Chelsea, along with the stopping up and landscaping of a street between two of the sites to form a new public piazza facing Christ Church. The design responds sensitively to its historic context, whilst creating a modern interior filled with light from both new skylights and a rear glazed curtain wall. The end result is an inspiring and uplifting environment for learning and play.
