DGA obtained planning consent for a new residential development in Langley adjacent to the the new Langley Crossrail station. The design consists of 41 residential apartments across affordable and private tenures. Acknowledging the importance of this strategic corner site, the scheme was designed to form a subtle transition from the urban scale and nature of Alderbury Rd to the urban scale and nature of Station Rd fronting onto a busy road opposite Langley Crossrail station. The design involved extensive privacy mitigation measures to countenance any perceived overlooking of neighbours, acoustic impact and proximity to the railway tracks and incorporate the councils requirements for safeguarding land for a future road widening scheme.
